Finally some beautiful weather on this awesome Saturday!! Gonna go mow the grass and then play in the pond. Still need to plant the monster cow lily!! Haven't been able to because of all this darned rain!! I hope everyone is having as nice of weather as we are today!!! Happy ponding people!!

Thank you! Yes it is beautiful out today here as well! I'm planting flowers and I'm getting a sunburn!  Had to take a break and come inside to cool off!  |

I would have liked to do something fun, but I only get weekends off work, and I get too tired sometimes after work. Besides it has rained for the last 899 days, and this weekend was the first dry one. I had hay to mow in my yard, things to plant, garden to till, wanted to lay weed block around the house, and get new mulch, but didn't get it all done. also had to fix a leak in my smaller pond waterfall. it's been a full weekend. you wait all winter to get started, and then the work is overwhelming. I need a handyman-gardner if I'm gonna keep this up. The worldwide destruction didn't take care of it for me, when's the next date?  |

Trust me..I know what you mean! We had two days of sun this weekend and now it is back to a thunderstorm! My husband got the mowing done on Saturday morning and my yard looks like a hay field too! But I got my flowers & veggie plants in. And I was able to repot a waterlily and separate some perennial plants that got out of bounds. It was the weekend to git R done! |
