Hello all. New to the forum and pond life. I have a 16x6x5 350 gallon preformed pond with homemade pressurized Bio-filter with forced oxygenation. The bio-filter and water fall is powered by a ca 2200 pump. Had 5 gold fish, but the biggest one killed the others, so down to one gold fish about 10 1/2 inches long.

Welcome to the forum Brad!
Those measurments, are they in inches? Sounds like from the size that you would have more than 350 gallons.

Welcome to the forum. My family lives in Gallatin.
The biggest goldfish killed the others? that is really unusual..gold fish and koi are really easy going and not fighters almost always. Are you sure that's what killed them?

Hi Brad. I'm also new but wanted to say welcome. TN is a beautiful state. I spent a year in Knoxville and really enjoyed the South.

I agree with Lisa 100%. Goldfish eat their spawn and fry, but that's it. They are very docile, social creatures, and do not usually harm anything. Maybe a raccoon, possum, snake, bullfrog, or heron, but not the goldfish. They love their friends.

I agree also. goldfish are communal, not fighting or vicious
