Adding a bottom drain
is a great way to remove solids and prevent
stratification, especially in ponds over 3' deep.
EasyPro bottom drains are easy to install and come
complete with everything needed to make a water tight
penetration through the liner. The built in air diffuser
model provides the ultimate in self cleaning action.
When the air bubbles rise the dirty water is pulled into
the bottom drain.
EasyPro offers several
bottom drain options. The standard drain is available
with or without an air diffuser. Each style has two
rubber gaskets and six stainless steel screws for a
water tight penetration through the liner. For use with
3" PVC pipe and fittings. Bottom drain with air diffuser
has 1/2" barbed air inlet, recommended air flow of .5 to
1.5 CFM.

The EasyPro heavy duty bottom drain is designed for use with
4" PVC pipe for high flow applications. This EasyPro bottom
drain is roto molded for superior strength and durability!
Unlike other bottom drains which have multiple legs around
the outside (which debris can catch on) this drain has a
center leg which prevents plugging. The large dome top will
keep fish and large debris from entering pipe.
Price includes drain and
fittings to connect to 4" pipe. A 4" x 3" adapter can be
used for 3" pipe. |

CUSTOM
WATER DIVERTER FOR BOTTOM DRAIN/SKIMMER
You get the best of
both world's, bottom drain and a skimmer. |
Many pond
builders have found that adding a bottom drain/skimmer
diverter helps keep a
pond cleaner. Fish waste and other muck that accumulates on
a pond bottom can be easily removed by a bottom drain. Ponds
that are over 2' deep can become stagnant without a bottom
drain. The bottom drain is installed under the liner.

NOTE:
The control valve at the bottom of the skimmer allows
you to adjust the amount of water coming from the bottom
drain. This will also increase or decrease the water
coming in from the top of the skimmer!

A bulkhead
fitting is installed in the skimmer. A PVC male adapter
connects the flex PVC to the bulkhead fitting. A valve is
placed inside the skimmer box to control flow. When the pump
is turned on, water will flow into the skimmer through the
skimmer faceplate (surface water) as well as the bottom
drain. You can control how much water goes in thru the
top/bottom inlets with the valve on the bottom drain.
Bottom drain
kits include EBD bottom drain, bulkhead fitting, valve and
fittings.
Does not include PVC pipe. 2" kit recommended for
PS1 skimmers, 3" for PS2 skimmers. |

on plants that may be restricted. If your order gets confiscated
by your state agriculture department we cannot be held responsible.

We guarantee our plants will arrive alive and healthy. Pond Plants
grow differently depending on where you live. If you took pond plants
of the same type, and planted them in different parts of the USA,
each plant would grow differently. This is Mother Nature at work.
