Kasco deicers are designed to prevent the formation of
damaging ice around docks and boats. Thousands of these
units are being used in marinas, harbors, waterfront
developments and recreational ponds to prevent costly ice
damage. Kasco deicers come complete with power cord and two
20' suspension ropes. |

Three ways to
install deicers:
Suspension Ropes – hang deicer between two fixed
points. Ropes are included.
Dock Mount – using the optional dock mount lets
you attach the deicer to a dock or piling. Dock mount is
adjustable for depth and angle (see photo at right).
Floatation Kit – suspending the deicer
horizontally with this floatation kit creates an
elongated pattern of open water. A deicer works because
it draws warmer, denser water from the bottom and
circulates it upward to the surface, preventing ice
formation or melting existing ice.

Time and temperature
control – save money in reduced electrical usage!
This controller, designed exclusively for Kasco, will
only operate when both the timer and thermostat are
activated, unlike regular timers which run the motor
every day at a set time. This controller will only
operate when the temperature requires it! A temperature
only controller is available (see photo at right)
that operates motor whenever freezing conditions exist.

To deice a shallow
water area, direct the flow of warmer water from a deeper area
into the shallower area. Remember, a deicer works because it
draws warmer, denser water from the bottom and circulates it
upward to the surface, preventing ice formation or melting
existing ice.

USDA Noxious Plants website
prior to purchase. The buyer needs to beware of any regulations
on plants that may be restricted. If your order gets confiscated
by your state agriculture department we cannot be held responsible.
CLIMATE VARIATIONS:
We guarantee our plants will arrive alive and healthy. Pond Plants
grow differently depending on where you live. If you took pond plants
of the same type, and planted them in different parts of the USA,
each plant would grow differently. This is Mother Nature at work.
